Waste Disposal & Specialty Removal

Waste disposal and specialty removal covers general rubbish, furniture, appliances, mattresses, scrap metal and builder’s waste. iTrade collects the load, separates it for reuse and recycling, and disposes of the rest responsibly under waste duty-of-care rules.

In this group

6 specific services, each with its own scope, process and quote factors.

Different materials need different routes. Appliances fall under WEEE rules, mattresses need separate handling, metal can be recycled, and builder’s waste is priced by weight and type. Sorting the load properly is what keeps material out of landfill and keeps disposal compliant.

Pick the closest service below, or ask if you have a mixed load. Photographs of the items and the access route help iTrade give a more accurate estimate.

Common questions

Frequently asked

How do I know my waste is dealt with legally?

Check that whoever removes it is a registered waste carrier. You can verify iTrade on the Environment Agency public register once the registration is published. See the guide on checking a waste carrier registration.

What happens to reusable items?

Items that may suit reuse should be kept separate while an appropriate receiving route is checked. No named charity or reuse partner is claimed until the current arrangement is evidenced.

Do fridges or freezers need special handling?

Yes. Fridges, freezers and other electrical items fall under WEEE rules and are handled separately from general waste.
