A house, flat and holiday property may need different handovers. Tell iTrade if rooms must be left empty, some furniture is staying or cleaners need to follow the removal team. The quote should make the end point clear rather than treating every property as the same job.
For a property approached through a passage or shared entrance, describe where the vehicle can stop and how the contents reach it. A front elevation photograph is useful, but it may not show a rear entrance, internal stair or locked gate. Include those details before agreeing the timetable.
If you are coordinating a sale or a letting changeover from outside Great Yarmouth, name the person responsible for access and instructions. A fixed handover deadline should be discussed at assessment; do not rely on an unconfirmed arrival or assume cleaning is part of clearance.
Decide which contents are being retained before a holiday-let or rental handover. Photograph or list them and explain who will check the final rooms. Ordinary tenant move-out and abandoned goods are different situations; obtain appropriate advice if ownership or permission to remove items is uncertain.
For budgeting, read what affects house clearance costs. If you only need selected items removed, compare partial clearance with a rubbish collection before sending the details.
Access and property notes
- Photograph any narrow passage, shared door or stairs between the contents and loading point.
- Explain whether access depends on an agent, keyholder or agreed arrival window.
- Keep household contents separate from trade or refurbishment waste when describing the load; the material mix changes the assessment.
