Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, prepare a quotation and take steps at your request before a contract. Customer information is used to perform the agreed service. We also use information where necessary to meet legal and accounting obligations, protect property, prevent fraud, manage complaints and establish or defend legal claims.
Who receives it
Information is shared only where needed with hosting and performance provider Vercel, email, accounting and IT providers; authorised employees or contractors; waste and recycling facilities; professional advisers; and regulators or law-enforcement bodies where the law requires it. If you choose the WhatsApp link, WhatsApp and its owner Meta process the contact details and message you send under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not proceed: normally up to 12 months after the last contact.
- Quotations, customer, invoice and payment records: normally six years after the service.
- Waste transfer notes: at least the period required by applicable waste-duty-of-care rules.
- Complaints and related correspondence: normally three years after closure, or longer when needed for a live claim.
Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed, or retained longer where the law or an active dispute requires it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
