1. The business and your contract

iTrade Recycling Ltd, company number 14014263, trades as iTrade from its registered office at 23 Grammar School Road, North Walsham, NR28 9JH. A contract begins when you accept a written quotation or otherwise confirm a booking on the terms stated to you.

2. Quotations and scope

A quotation is based on the information, photographs, access and materials disclosed during assessment. It states what is included, excluded, separately chargeable and how long the quotation remains open. Work outside the agreed scope is carried out only after the change and any additional price are agreed.

3. Your authority and retained items

You must have authority to instruct the work and to dispose of the listed contents. Identify items that must be retained before work begins. Tell iTrade about ownership disputes, probate restrictions, tenancy issues, confidential records or third-party belongings before collection.

4. Access and site conditions

You must provide safe, lawful access at the agreed time and disclose relevant parking, stairs, lifts, keys, utilities, structural hazards and building-management rules. iTrade may pause work where conditions are unsafe or materially different from those described.

5. Waste and excluded materials

Suspected asbestos, clinical waste, chemicals, fuels, gas cylinders and other hazardous or specialist materials are not part of a standard clearance unless a suitable route is expressly agreed. Waste is handled under the applicable duty-of-care requirements. Ask which transfer record applies to the job and keep the completed record.

6. Saleable items and price adjustments

No resale value is assumed. If iTrade agrees to purchase an item or apply a credit against the clearance price, the item and agreed value must be recorded in writing before removal.

7. Payment

The quotation or invoice states the price, any deposit and the payment date. If unforeseen work is required, iTrade will explain the issue and agree any additional charge before continuing. Statutory rights concerning disputed or incorrectly supplied services are unaffected.

8. Cancellation and delay

Any applicable consumer cancellation rights will be explained when a booking is made away from business premises or at a distance. If you expressly ask for work to begin during a statutory cancellation period, you may have to pay for work completed before cancellation. Either party should notify the other promptly about access problems, unsafe conditions or unavoidable delay.

9. Responsibility

iTrade is responsible for providing the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Complaints and governing law

Please use the complaints procedure so the issue can be recorded and investigated. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and applicable consumer rights to use local courts are unaffected.
