What is recorded before work

  • The person authorised to give instructions.
  • The rooms, outbuildings or individual items included.
  • Items that must be retained or kept separate.
  • Parking, stairs, lifts, keys and the vehicle carry route.
  • Suspected hazardous or specialist materials outside the standard scope.

How the scope controls the job

The written quotation should describe the included work, exclusions, price basis and any separate cleaning, dismantling or maintenance. If the conditions differ materially on arrival, the change is discussed before additional work proceeds.

Sorting and removal records

Retained items are protected first. Remaining contents are assessed for an appropriate reuse, recycling or disposal route. The applicable waste transfer record should be agreed and kept with the quotation and invoice.

Handover

The completed areas are checked against the scope. Remote customers can agree suitable photographs or video updates, provided the property and personal information are handled respectfully.
